Assistant Finance Manager

The Assistant Manager – Finance would be responsible for leading Perth operations with focus on consolidation, control and treasury management.

Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
  • Ensure that accounts receivables are collected promptly
  • Review and approve payroll for AUS and UAE staff which and other payroll for AUS entity
  • Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
  • Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
  • Maintain the chart of accounts
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions

Cash Planning

  • Provide cash projections for the group, coordinating with country FNA
  • Monitor cash flow vs. projections to ensure to targets are followed, report deviations

Financial Management Reporting

  • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
  • Provide financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
  • Leads the reporting and publishing of monthly financial management data
  • Creates qualitative and quantitative analysis and interpretation on financial performance, cost trends, profitability and variances
  • Responsible for overseeing financial information supplied by country finance teams to ensure high quality leadership information

Governance, Risk and Compliance

  • Maintains effective controlling activity to ensure Opex/Capex expense is managed in line with approved budget
  • Supports Internal & External audit in an efficient and transparent manner
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Coordinate with external agents for secretarial matters and compliance

Special Projects

  • Review and coordinate all projects of the team
  • Recommend workflow efficiencies within NetSuite and other

Key requirements

  • Finance experience in organizations which focused on IT solutions and software as a service (SaaS)
  • Qualified accountant with experience of Finance in complex and multinational environments
  • ERP experience a must. NetSuite experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, project accounting, business partnering
  • Proven commercial awareness
  • Experience of working at operational and strategic level in progressively more responsible roles
  • Experience of complex data handling and modelling (cross country/international environment)
